Peregrine Roskilly Invited To Participate In KISS Exhibiton In Fitzrovia Art Hotspot In London

The Fitzrovia Phenomenon Continues.


11 February 2012 Cambridge, UK. Artist Peregrine Roskilly is participating in the KISS exhibition at Gallery DIFFERENT in London. First it was Cork Street, then Hoxton and now Fitzrovia is London's hottest place for art. Painitings on show are inspired by the London Naked Bike Ride.

Driven by better economics and larger spaces, Fitzrovia has become the latest art hub in London's West End and the place to view a hotbed of new talent alongside established artists. The KISS exhibition, 15 February – 25 March, 2012 which is being revitalised at Gallery DIFFERENT after an absence of several years, is a case in point. Featuring 26 artists from home and abroad, young and old, renowned and upcoming, the aim is to show art across the spectrum.

Powerful and challenging paintings feature the World Naked Bike Ride
A new series of works from Cambridgeshire artist Peregrine Roskilly who graduated in art from Twickenham college, is making its debut at the Mackenzie Gallery in Teddington for the next few weeks. Described as “powerful and challenging” they are inspired by both the exotic and ordinary characters who take part in the World Naked Bike Rides. These annual events take place in London, which attracts around 1000 cyclists, as well as other UK and world cities.
